Rocket Dog Rescue

A little over two weeks ago I wanted to do something to give back to the rescue organization my wife and I adopted our Staffordshire Bull Terrier from. (RocketDogRescue) An idea for a 2014 calendar came up, and the next thing I knew I was photographing 29 dogs that had been adopted out by RocketDogRescue. I can honestly say I’ve never done anything like this before, and it truly felt so rewarding. I’d like to thank the great volunteers at RocketDogRescue for really making this something very special.

Without giving away too much, here are a few photos that didn’t make the calendar along with a behind the scene shot.

Meet Hudson

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to photograph several adorable Pit Bulls who have all been rescued. Here’s a photo of Hudson one of the Staffordshire Bull Terriers from the shoot.

A little more info on the little fella:

“7-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier available for adoption! He is approximately 15 pounds and is expected to grow to 20 pounds. He is crate/potty trained and loves to play and go on hikes and walks. Hudson survived the deadly parvovirus, but sadly, the rest of his litter did not. He just received final treatment for an advanced case of demodectic mange. He is now ready to find his forever home!”
