“Sunday Funday?”

Yep today was definitely a “funday.” I had a chance to work with “Senor Kicks” a 7yr old Dachshund.  I love using photography as an excuse to play with all these dogs I’ve been photographing! You can follow his insta-travels here: https://www.instagram.com/senorkicks/

Dubs on 7

The other night I received a few messages from people letting me know they had seen a photo of my dog Hudson on the local news station. I stayed up to catch their next broadcast and there he was! I couldn’t stop laughing, pretty cool to see the little guy on TV. Below are a few other portraits I’ve taken of him during the week.

A photo session with 4yr old “Skully.” Right off the bat when I saw Skully I knew this was going to be a fun quick and easy shoot. In fact it actually took me longer to setup my equipment and check my settings than the actual shoot. Skully was definitely a ham in front of the camera and loved every minute of it.

Of course the best part of a shoot, is always taking a photo with the model = )

Meet Hudson

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to photograph several adorable Pit Bulls who have all been rescued. Here’s a photo of Hudson one of the Staffordshire Bull Terriers from the shoot.

A little more info on the little fella:

“7-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier available for adoption! He is approximately 15 pounds and is expected to grow to 20 pounds. He is crate/potty trained and loves to play and go on hikes and walks. Hudson survived the deadly parvovirus, but sadly, the rest of his litter did not. He just received final treatment for an advanced case of demodectic mange. He is now ready to find his forever home!”
