Yep today was definitely a “funday.” I had a chance to work with “Senor Kicks” a 7yr old Dachshund. I love using photography as an excuse to play with all these dogs I’ve been photographing! You can follow his insta-travels here: https://www.instagram.com/senorkicks/
I often get disappointed with myself for not taking advantage of all the amazing things one can do here in the San Francisco Bay Area. So when my wife asked me if I’d like to go for a ride on her co-workers sail boat, of course I responded with a “HELL YEA!” From calm waters to rough waters, to dodging boats on the bay while listening to music ranging from Classic Rock to EDM (electronic dance music) it was the most fun I had in a long time.
What a crazy season and playoff run for the Golden State Warriors! Of course being a fan of theirs I’m happy they were able close it out and win the NBA Finals. Here are a few portraits I took of my dog Hudson showing off his “DubNation” pride!
Watching the sun rise up over the Bay Bridge never seems to get old for me.
It’s 3am people are asleep, a couple friends and I are gearing up to head towards the Golden Gate Bridge. We all have our own visions of what we want to accomplish, but we all have a common goal. That goal is to come back home with at least one great capture. The photo below with the fisherman was that one great capture for me, the one shot that made the whole adventure worth it.
“Dogposites” are my way of allowing my imagination to take over to create a surreal scene for a dog I have taken a portrait of. Here are a few I have recently gotten around to creating.
A little joy ride across the new Bay Bridge Trail.
I’m often asked, “What’s a good camera I should buy?” So when a friend recently purchased a used Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 for $280, I was curious to see what I could do with it. Back in 2009 this camera was selling for around $1,000. Unfortunately in technology terms, five years means vintage! My overall impression, this is one of those rare times when I can use the words “good” and “cheap” in the same sentence.
